Labour Market Indicators (Second Quarter 2024)

• Foreign workers active permits reached 631,763 permits by the end of the second quarter of 2024 representing an increase of 3.8% annually compared to 608,411 permits in the second quarter of 2023.
• The number of new employment work permits issued by LMRA during the second quarter of 2024 was 33,740 showing an annual decrease rate of 5%.
• The share of organizations employing less than 10 workers of employment work permits was 54.0% of total new employment work permits issued during the second quarter of 2024.
