Permanent Domestic Employees Ceiling Application Increase for Expatriates Resident Employer

Through this service, the employer or the person who will act on his/her behalf (1st degree relative by official power of attorney, or through an authorized clearance office or employment office, or through an electronic authorization) may apply to increase the ceiling for number of work permits allowed for domestic employees.

Service Conditions

  1. To verify that the applicant is the employer or the person who will act on his behalf (1st degree relative by official power of attorney, or through an authorized clearance office or employment office, or through an electronic authorization).
  2. The validity of residence permit of the expatriate resident employer in the Kingdom of Bahrain must not be less than six months.

Process Description

  1. Click here to login to the LMRA Expat Management System (EMS) and start the process of applying the permanent domestic employees ceiling application increase.
  2. Fill out the required details in the designated fields and upload the required documents.
  3. Once you submit the application, an application ID will be issued, and it will be sent for verification.
  4. You can check the application status (whether it has been approved or rejected) by:
