Decree (39) for the year 2019 Regarding the Organization of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority

We, Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa King of the Kingdom of Bahrain
After reviewing the constitution,
And law (19) for the year 2006, regarding the regulation the labor market, and its amendments,
And based on the proposal of the Prime Minister,
And after the approval of the Council of Ministers,

We Have Decreed the Following:
First Article
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority shall be organized as follows:
The Board of Directors, which underneath it includes:
The CEO, who underneath him includes:
First: the Policies and Market Information Department
Second: the Complaints and Protection Department
Third: the Communications Department
Forth: the Vice-CEO of Resources and Services (at a grade of Assistant Undersecretary), who underneath him includes:

  1. The Financial Resources Department
  2. The Human Resources Department
  3. The Services for Business Owners Department
  4. The Expatriate Services Department
  5. The Legal Affairs Department

Fifth: the Vice-CEO of Operations and Information Systems (at a grade of Assistant Undersecretary), who underneath him includes:

  1. The Application Processing Department
  2. The Audit and Development Department
  3. The Programs Development Department
  4. The Information Systems Department
  5. The Wages Protection Department

Sixth: the Vice-CEO of Legal Control (at a grade of Assistant Undersecretary), who underneath him includes:

  1. The Licensing Department
  2. The Preventive Inspection Department
  3. The Labor Inspection Department

Second Article
Any text that goes against the provisions of this decree shall be nullified.

Third Article
The Prime Minister should execute the provisions of this decree, and it shall come into effect on the date of being published in the official gazette.
