Resolution No. (1) for the year 2017 Regarding Fees Imposed by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority

After reviewing resolution no. (19) for the year 2006 regarding regulating the
labour market and its amendments, in particular articles (4 and 42) of it,
And resolution no. (121) for the year 2007, regarding residency and entry
permits for family members of foreign employees and employers,
And resolution no. (26) for the year 2008, regarding the fees imposed on
employers to issue and renew work permits, and residency permits for family
members of foreign employees and employers, amended by resolution (67) for the
year 2013.
And resolution no. (28) for the year 2008, regarding returning the work permit
fees, and the lowering of occupation change fees, and imposing a fine for the monthly
fee payment delay regarding the foreign employee.
And resolution no. (76) for the year 2008, regarding the regulation of foreign
employees work permits other that house servants, and its amendments.
And resolution no. (77) for the year 2008, regarding the employer’s
commitments in the event a foreign employee stopped working for him in violation of
the work permit conditions.
And resolution no. (2) for the year 2014, regarding the regulation of foreign
employees work permits to practice professional occupations.
And resolution no. (4) for the year 2014, regarding the regulation of house
servants’ permits and those of similar status.
And resolution no. (31) for the year 2014, regarding some fees imposed by the
Labour Market Regulatory Authority.
And resolution no. (27) for the year 2016, regarding some fees imposed by the
Labour Market Regulatory Authority.
And the resolution of the Council of Ministers No. (4-2365).
Has decided the following:
Article One
A fee of five dinars shall be imposed for applications submitted to the Labour Market
Regulatory Authority regarding obtaining the following licenses and services:
- The employer registering his facilities.
- Issuing, renewing, and cancelling all types of work permits.
- Absence from work notification registration.
- Increasing the number of work permits.
- Residency and entry permits for family members of foreign employees and employers.
Article Two
An additional fee of (20) dinars per application shall be imposed on the employer that
wants to complete his transactions via The Labour Market Regulatory Authority’s
Distinguished Service Centre. An additional fee of (50) dinars per transaction shall be
imposed on the employer that wants to complete his transactions at his facilities
without visiting the Labour Market Regulatory Authority’s offices, and in return for
the Distinguished Service Centre employee’s visit to him.
Article Three
Taking into account the provisions of paragraphs (h) and (g) of article (42) of
resolution (19) for the year 2006, regarding regulating the labour market, the Labour
Market Regulatory Authority shall take responsibility of collecting the fees
mentioned in this decree.
Article Four
The CEO of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority shall execute this decree, and
shall be applied on the day after being published in the official gazette.
