Through this service the employer or the person who will act on his behalf (1st degree relative by official power of attorney, or through an authorized clearance office or employment office, or through an electronic authorization) may apply to increase a temporarily ceiling for number of work permits allowed for domestic employees, in case the income does not meet the permit of another domestic employee, provided that the employer pledges the date the domestic employee transfers to another employer or leaves the Kingdom of Bahrain.

To verify that the applicant is the employer or the person who will act on his behalf (1st degree relative by official power of attorney, or through an authorized clearance office or employment office, or through an electronic authorization).
The validity of residence permit of the expatriate resident employer in the Kingdom of Bahrain must not be less than six months.

If approved, the domestic employee’s ceiling data will be changed in LMRA’s Expat Management System (EMS), and the employer may apply for new work permit.
