Special Conditions

  • Obtaining Nurse (General) profession requires the employee to have a license to practice the profession from National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA).
  • Obtaining Yachtsman profession requires providing LMRA with ownership of the yacht.

Process Description

eService (Expat Management System (EMS))

  • Click here to login to the LMRA Expat Management System (EMS) and start the process of applying for change of occupation of the domestic employee.
  • Fill out the required details in the designated fields and upload the required documents.
  • Once you submit the application, an application ID will be issued, and it will be sent for verification.
  • You can check the application status (whether it has been approved or rejected) by:
  • If approved, the domestic employee’s occupation will be changed in LMRA’s Expat Management System (EMS).

Physical Location

  • Personal attendance by the employer or the person who will act on his behalf at any of the LMRA branches with all the required documents.

Service Fees

  • BHD 10.
