Through this service, employers can notify Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) of their domestic employee absence from work without any reason or justification.

Process Description

eService (Expat Management System (EMS))

  1. Submit the application via the eSupport function on the Expat Management System (EMS) by filling the required fields.
  2. Once the application is applied, you will be informed via the e-ticket that the absence from work notification application has been submitted, and you must pay the admin fees via the Expat Management System (EMS).
  3. Upon completion of the admin fees payment, the application will automatically be transferred for verification.
  4. You can check the application status (whether it has been approved or rejected) by:
  5. If the application was approved, employer must visit the client services counters to receive the absence from work notification.

Physical Location

  1. Visit any of the branches of Labour Marker Regulatory Authority with the required documents.
  2. Present the documents to the Client Services Directorate and pay the service fees.
  3. The application will be processed and the employer will be notified by SMS once the application is processed.
