E-Settlement Service

Through this service, employers and expatriate employees can submit a request for an online settlement service for violations that are eligible for settlement.

Process Description

  1. Visit Inspection E-Services (Appointments) and book an appointement for E-Settlement service or via eSupport function on the Expat Management System (EMS).
  2. Enter at the appointed time*.
  3. The judicial enforcement officer will send you a settlment report stating the details of the violating workers and the settlement amount. You will be asked to sign it and send it back.
  4. After you sign the settlment report, the judicial enforcement officer will ask you to complete the procedure and give you a period of 14 working days to pay the prescribed settlement amount, from the date of approval.
*Note: If you do not commit to attending within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, the appointment will be cancelled, and a new appointment must be booked.

Employing an expatriate employee without a permit or in violation of the permit conditions.

  • BHD 500 (for the first time).
  • BHD 1000 (In the event of repetition).
Employing a worker in the same establishment with an expired work permit.
  • BHD 100, in the first ten days from the expiry date of the permit (1 - 10 days).
  • BHD 200, in the second ten days from the expiry date of the permit (11 - 20 days).
  • BHD 300, in the third ten days from the expiry date of the permit (21 - 30 days).
  • BHD 1000 after 30 days from the expiry date of the permit.
2 Expatriate Employee Practicing work without a permit, or if the permit has expired.
  • BHD 500 (for the first time).
