Through this service, employers can request for work permits in case of merging CRs branches and/ or changing the activities.

7 Proof of work volume (example: awarded project's contracts supported with construction permits if the company is working in the construction sector, or invoices of imported products from outside Bahrain, supported by the customs invoices if the company is working in the retail import and export sector, or copies of vehicles ownership owned by the company if the company is working in the transport sector, or customs papers verifying the shipment of goods if the company is working in loading and unloading activities) Copy

Process Description

  1. Apply for work permits ceiling increase request through the Expatriate Management System. Should you wish to submit more evidence, please visit Client Services Counter at LMRA headquarters.
  2. For work permits  requiring more than 6 or 10 based on the establishment activities (Establishments under the Bahrainization zone), submit Workload/ Ceiling Form available in the Required Documents section at LMRA website or Client Services Counter at LMRA, first floor.
  3. Submit Workload/ Ceiling Form supported with the required documents by visiting Client Services Counter at LMRA headquarters- first floor or through the E-support system.
