New Establishment Registration

This service allows new establishments to register their commercial registrations or Units in LMRA to enable them to apply work permits for expatriates, to renew and cancel their work permits.

Process Description (Online)

  1. Visit the following link Register Your Establishment.
  2. Fill out the required fields.
  3. Upload the required documents.
  4. Submit the registration.
  5. A notification will appear (Your establishment registration application has been successfully submitted to LMRA, please pay the admin fees to complete the registration process) and then you will be automatically directed to the payment page.
  6. After completing the admin fees payment, your registration application will be verified within 3 working days.
  7. Once your establishment registration application is approved by verification, you will be able to login into the Expat Management System (EMS) using your Advanced eKey.

Special Considerations

  1. Make sure to fill all the required fields in the Establishment Registration Form PDF (1.86 MB). The responsible person should sign in the designated signature fields on both sides of the form.
  2. Attach a copy of the responsible person’s identity card (both sides).
  3. If you are registering the first branch of your establishment – for example cr no: 21xxxx-01 you will need to attach two ID copies of the responsible person’s passport, identity card or driving license containing the date and signed by the employer.
  4. If the person registering the establishment is a power of attorney holder kindly attach a clear copy of the power of attorney. The type of the power of attorney should either be:
    (General Power of Attorney for Acts and Management or Power of Attorney to Manage Commercial Registrations). The power of attorney should clearly mention the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, and the level of authorization (to submit, renew and cancel work permits).
  5. If the employer wants to add an authorized person who has a power of attorney, kindly attach a clear copy of the power of attorney. The type of the power of attorney should either be:
    (General Power of Attorney for Acts and Management or Power of Attorney to Manage Commercial Registrations). The power of attorney should clearly mention the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, and the level of authorization (to submit, renew and cancel work permits).

Process Description (Walk in)

  1. Visit Client Services Front Desk Counters at LMRA by booking an appointment for commercial services via LMRA’s Appointment Management System.
  2. Fill out the Establishment Registration Form PDF (1.86 MB) and submit the required documents.
  3. Once the registration application is submitted, LMRA employee will collect the admin fees from the commercial registration owner or his representative using the Point of Sale (POS) machine.
  4. Once the admin fee payment is completed, you will be able to login into the Expat Management System (EMS) using your Advanced eKey.
