Intention to Transfer
Through this service, an expatriate employee can announce his/her intention to change the employer or to prevent being moved to another Commercial Registration (CR) without notification. Once the notification is submitted, the current employer will be blocked from renewing the employee at the end of the work permit.
Service Conditions
- The intention can be submitted at any time by the expatriate employees who have a valid work permit.
- The intention can only be done once.
- The intention can be submitted only after passing half period of the work permit.
- No need for the expatriate employee to submit the intention if the work permit is terminated.

Process Description
eService (Expatriate Services System)
- The worker should attach all the required documents and submit them through Expatriate Services System.
- Verifying the application by LMRA.
- Receiving approval from LMRA.
Legal Regulations
- Decree act No. (15) for 2011 regarding amendment of part A of Article No. (25) of the Law No. (19) for 2006 concerning LMRA.
